PRODUCTS
Metco has focussed on the production of metal complexes called METCOLOUR for over 10 years. The range of products is divided into six large families. New products were introduced on the market for decorating unglazed ceramic materials and particularly porcelain stoneware at the beginning of the Nineties: "soluble salts". Created as an alternative to the traditional colouring with solid pigments, "soluble salts" are aqueous solutions of inorganic salts or organic complexes of chromophore metals. These chromophore solutions, applied using different techniques to the surfaces to be decorated, allow the surface of the ceramic material alone to be coloured; moreover, thanks to their properties of penetration and diffusion, they reach a depth of a few mm, making it possible to produce polished finished products, without affecting the decoration.
1- SINKMET (SSI)
In the field of digital decoration, Metco has developed the range of colors soluble Sinkmet, can penetrate for several millimeters in the support, so as to make possible its lapping thrust. If the pigments are micro ground to continue to provide a high definition, the colors soluble Sinkmet, however, allow to intervene on the technical porcelain stoneware obtaining grain and the aesthetic developments extraordinary (without the aid of glasses or glass sandwiching), while maintaining the technical characteristics of porcelain stoneware, such as resistance to abrasion and low dirtying. The colors Sinkmet for digital decoration penetrating are a specialty cromofora completely soluble. Are certified by the major houses of production digital printers and available in 8 colours, based on complexes of metals, common and precious - such as Ruthenium (Ru) and Gold (Au) - in addition to a wide range of agents, penetrating, and sophisticated systems of alteration of the dough. These elements combine to guarantee the naturalness and the beauty of technical porcelain, typically in search of imitation of natural stone and marble, with chromatic nuances, the unique.
2- NOBACTER
in liquid form are in turn divided into codes from A to P, each letter being then accompanied by a number which has now reached four figures, as a witness of the very large quantity of formulations made over the years. They are aqueous solutions containing one or more organic metal compounds capable of providing, if correctly applied, the required colour to the fired and polished tile.

4- METCOROLL
These are colours already available in paste and ready for use without any preparation necessary as they are prepared in Metco for machines with laser incision rollers. They can be used either for polished or unpolished materials, obviously it depends on the quantity discharged and then on the incision used.
5- METSCREEN
Divided into numerical codes, they come in the form of powders, they are thickening agents which permit application of the METCOLOUR with a serigraphic screen or a rubber roller.
6- METASORB
Divided into numerical codes, they come in liquid form, they are highly penetrating products for a better fixing of the colour in the body of the tile.
7- METABASE
Divided into numerical codes, they come in liquid form and offer the possibility of obtaining depth effects similar to those present in natural stones.
8- METOSAL
Divided into numerical codes in liquid form, they offer the possibility of bringing out the colour effect of some organo-metal complexes, or to obtain the "frame" effect to increase the depth of the image..
9- METOIL
Divided into numerical codes, in liquid or thickened form, they are used to obtain waterproofed areas and subsequently apply the colours by disking or spraying.
10- METAFOAM
Divided into numerical codes, in liquid form, they reduce or eliminate the possible formations of foam during the thickening of the colour before use.
11- METFLUID
Divided into alphabetical codes, in liquid form, they permit preparation of the thickening of the Metcolour dispersing Metscreen before their use.
12-METOX
Divided into numerical codes, they are products to be added to the ceramic mixture before being put into the spray-drier to obtain particular colours like yellows and orangey-yellows
